After a strong catch-up race, Marc and Sven Andries have won the first race of the Diesel Touring Cup in Zandvoort.  The race was held during the Automaxx versus Dutch Power Pack event.

After a strong start, Marc was side by side with pole-sitter Phil Bastiaens at the end of the start-finish straight.  Unfortunately the engine went in the emergency program, causing Marc to drop back in 10th position.  This was the start of a strong catch-up race of Marc and Sven.  After 3 laps, Marc was already back in the top 8, however it took until lap 37 for Sven to take the lead of the race.  In the end, Sven had a 6 second lead at the checkered flag.
