Marc Qualifies in 6th Position for tomorrows BRL Race
This week, Marc is in Zolder for the 5th race weekend of the BRL series. Both races are run tomorrow together with the Truck Grand Prix.
This morning in free practice Marc ended in 5th position as he only managed to do 4 laps before he had to park the car because of a brake system failure. That was not a lot of preparation for this afternoons one and only qualifying session of course. Nevertheless in this afternoons qualifying session, Marc was right upfront from the start. After changing from 1st and 2nd place in the beginning of the session, Marc misjudged the curbstones in the fast chicane. The result was that the car was airborne and when landing the drive shaft broke. This meant the end of qualifying for Marc and in the end his laptime was still good for 6th position on the grid for tomorrows first race.
The races tomorrow are run at 10.35am and 12.45pm.
