Ook dit jaar organiseert de Fanclub Marc Goossens weer een 3h kart race. In tegenstelling tot de voorgaande jaren zal het dit jaar om een outdoor wedstrijd gaan die georganiseerd wordt bij Antwerp Karting langs de Boomsesteenweg in Wilrijk.

Op zaterdag 13 augustus 2011 organiseert de Fanclub Marc Goossens weer haar jaarlijkse barbeque in taverne de Wheels op het circuit van Zolder.

Last weekend Marc competed in the 63rd edition of the 24 Hours of Spa with ProSpeed Competition. Only GT3- and GT4-cars were allowed to compete in the endurance race so the GT3′s were expected to challenge for overall victory. The Belgian team prepared 2 Porsches 997 GT3 R according to the GT3-regulations. “The Goose” shared his Porsche with Maxime Soulet, his regular team mate in the Belcar Endurance Championship, and Jan Heylen, a ProSpeed-driver in the European FIA GT3 Championship.
