Yesterday in Lime Rock the 5th round of the 2010 ALMS championship was run. The JaguarRSR team got their first points by finishing 9th in the GT2 class.

Unfortunately the race in Le Mans didn’t last very long for the JaguarRSR team. The whole week in Le Mans was a struggle with motor management problems. The problems started during the first practice problems and couldn’t be solved for the race. This is why the Marc and his teammates retired at 5.42pm because of electrical problems.
The team is now looking forward to the next race in Salt Lake city.

On May 22nd, the third round of the American Le Mans Series 2010 was held on the legendary circuit of Laguna Seca. At the last moment there was some extra new regarding Marc’s program for this year. Marc will be competing in a few BRL races this year, and the first one was held last weekend at the Nürnburgring. Despite some engine problems, the overall outcome of the weekend was positive.

This coming weekend respectively on the Paul Ricard circuit and Circuit Zolder the Le Mans Series and the Belcar Endurance Championship take off. ProSpeed Competition is entering top cars in both these championships, namely an InterOffice ProSpeed Porsche 911 GT3 RSR in the LM GT2 class in the Le Mans Series and two Porsche 911 GT3 R in the Belcar. The team drivers take a look ahead to the coming season.

Unfortunately the race in Sebring didn’s last long for Marc and his teammates. A cooling problem on the Jaguar made the team retire after 45 minutes in the race.
